Axar.az reports that the match, held at the Tovuz City Stadium, ended in a 1–0 victory for the home side.

The only goal of the match was scored by Ayxan Huseynov in the 45+1 minute.

With 59 points, Turan Tovuz remains in third place and has secured qualification for European competitions. With two rounds remaining, the Western representative still retains chances of finishing second. Karvan-Yevlax, with 14 points, has been confirmed to be relegated from the Premier League.

In other matches of the round, Kapaz defeated Sabah 1–0, Sumgayit beat Araz-Nakhchivan 2–1, Gabala and Qarabag played out a 1–1 draw, while the Imishli–Zira match ended goalless.
