Neftchi defeated Shamakhi in another match of Round XXXI of the Misli Premier League.

Axar.az reports that the match, held at Palms Sports Arena, ended in a 3–0 victory for the home side.

Emin Mahmudov opened the scoring in the 1st minute, followed by Imad Faraj in the 47th minute and Breno Almeida in the 83rd minute.

With this result, Neftchi, placed fourth, increased its tally to 53 points, while Shamakhi remains eighth with 35 points.

Earlier in the day, Turan Tovuz defeated Karvan-Yevlax 1–0.

In previous matches of the round, Kapaz beat Sabah 1–0, Sumgayit defeated Araz-Nakhchivan 2–1, Gabala and Qarabag drew 1–1, while Imishli and Zira played out a goalless draw.
