Sabah set to sign Tymoteusz Puchacz permanently

Tymoteusz Puchacz is set to continue his career in Azerbaijan, with a permanent move to Sabah FK nearing completion.

Axar.az reports that the Polish international left-back will remain with the Azerbaijani club after initially joining on loan from Germany’s Holstein Kiel during the summer transfer window.

The deal included an option to buy, which the club is now expected to activate.

According to the report, Sabah is set to sign Puchacz for several hundred thousand euros, with final negotiations currently focused on confirming the exact fee. Some sources claim the agreement has already been fully reached and only formal signing remains.

The Polish player is expected to sign a three-year contract.

Puchacz has had a productive season, making 32 appearances, scoring two goals, and providing 12 assists, playing a key role in his team’s success. He is also part of the squad competing for the Azerbaijan Cup Final, which will be held next week.

The report notes that the transfer could approach Sabah’s record fee, previously set by Kahim Parris at around €600,000, with some estimates suggesting the deal may reach close to €1 million.
