LASK crowned Austrian champions after a 61-year wait

LASK have been crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Austrian Bundesliga season.

Axar.az reports that in the final 32nd round, the Linz club secured a 3–0 away victory over Vienna, Austria, officially sealing the league title.

The team finished the season two points ahead of their nearest rivals, Graz “Sturm”.

It should be noted that LASK last won the national championship in 1965. This marks only the second league title in the club’s history, ending a 61-year wait.

LASK also capped off the season by completing a domestic double, having additionally lifted the Austrian Cup to finish the campaign with two trophies.
