A groundbreaking ceremony for the “Sea Breeze Arena” was held yesterday at Sea Breeze.

Axar.az reports that businessman Emin Agalarov shared details of the event on his social media account.

A number of well-known figures attended the ceremony.

During the event, Agalarov’s remarks about Gurban Gurbanov attracted particular attention.

“I want you to applaud Gurban Gurbanov, whom I consider a legend of Azerbaijani football. The entire country, the whole world, watched and saw what you achieved. It’s something beyond measure — truly incredible. Let’s give him another round of applause, friends,” Agalarov said.

It should be noted that the “Sea Breeze Arena” project includes the construction of a new stadium within the Sea Breeze complex.
