Azerbaijan U-15 wrestlers win two European gold medals

Two members of Azerbaijan’s U-15 freestyle wrestling national team have won gold medals at the European Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria.

Axar.az reports that Huseyn Emrahli (38 kg) became European champion after defeating Estonia’s Daniel Samuel in the final with a clear 9–0 victory.

Pasha Aslan (44 kg) also claimed the title, overcoming Armenia’s Pasha Khudoyan 4–1 in the final to secure the top of the podium.

It should be noted that the continental championship will conclude on May 24.
