Azerbaijan Premier League round 33 continues

A match from the 33rd round of the Azerbaijan Premier League has taken place.

Axar.az reports that Sumqayit hosted Qarabag and the encounter ended with a 4–3 victory for the away side.

With this result, Qarabag finished the championship with 69 points in second place, while Sumqayit concluded the season in seventh place with 41 points.

In the opening game of the day at the Bank Respublika Arena, reigning champions Sabah defeated Turan Tovuz 2–1.

It is also noted that the round began with Gabala beating Shamakhi 3–1, and it will conclude on May 24.
