Qarabag are close to strengthening their squad with a new goalkeeper.

Axar.az reports that the Aghdam-based club has all but finalized the signing of Martin Zlomislic, captain of Croatian club Rijeka.

The two sides have reportedly reached a principal agreement on the transfer of the Bosnia and Herzegovina international goalkeeper. The move is expected to be officially completed in the coming days.

Reports say Rijeka will earn around €500,000 from the transfer.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper made 53 appearances across all competitions for his club, conceding 58 goals and keeping 19 clean sheets.
