Azerbaijan wins European minifootball title

The Azerbaijan national minifootball team has won the European Championship held in Slovakia.

Axar.az reports that the squad coached by Elshad Guliyev faced Ukraine in the final match for the continental title.

The encounter, played at Tipos Arena, ended in a 2-0 victory for Azerbaijan, securing the European crown.

This marks the second European Championship title for Azerbaijan's minifootball team.

The national team previously won the tournament in 2022.
