Jakobs set to leave Galatasaray after 2026 World Cup

Senegal national team player Ismail Jakobs is set to leave Galatasaray.

Axar.az reports that the 26-year-old defender is expected to leave the Istanbul club after the 2026 World Cup.

The Italian side Juventus has made an offer for the African player and is ready to meet Galatasaray’s asking price.

Negotiations between the parties are ongoing. However, Jakobs himself is said to prefer staying at the Turkish champions. His contract with Galatasaray runs until June 30, 2027.

He previously played for Köln and Monaco before joining Galatasaray in 2024.
