Qarabag have completed another signing as they continue their transfer activity ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Axar.az reports that negotiations with Hungarian side ZTE have been successfully concluded, and Bence Varkonyi has joined the Aghdam-based club.

The Hungarian central defender has signed a three-year contract and will remain with the “Horsemen” until the summer of 2029.

A product of MTK’s academy, Vakonyi has played for MTK’s first team as well as Kozarmisleny during his career. He has also represented Hungary’s U-21 national team.

Bence Varkonyi becomes Qarabag’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window. Earlier, Jaly Mouaddib, Zakaria Sawo, Samuel Lobato, Bruno Langa, Martin Zlomislic, and Renaldo Cephas joined the club.
