The medals for the U17 World Wrestling Championships, to be held in Baku, have been unveiled.

Axar.az reports that according to the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, the medals feature a distinctive design.

The edges of the medals incorporate traditional Azerbaijani carpet motifs, reflecting the country's rich cultural heritage. These elements highlight Azerbaijan's historical and cultural values as the host nation while giving the medals a unique aesthetic appearance.

A total of 120 medals, each measuring 10 centimeters in diameter, have been produced. The competition will award 30 gold, 30 silver, and 60 bronze medals.

The U17 World Wrestling Championships will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena from July 27 to August 2, bringing together nearly 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries.
