Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, at a civil ceremony in Portugal.

Axar.az reports that Ronaldo announced the marriage on his Instagram account.

According to ESPN, the couple, who have been together since 2016 after meeting in Madrid, married in the coastal town of Cascais, near Lisbon. The ceremony was attended by their five children.

Ronaldo, 41, has scored nearly 1,000 goals during his career with Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr and Portugal. He recently appeared at his sixth World Cup, sharing the record with Lionel Messi for the most appearances in the men's World Cup finals.
