Neftchi thrash Araz-Nakhchivan in the second round of the Azerbaijan Premier League.

Axar.az reports that the match at Palms Sports Arena ended in a 5-0 victory for the “Black and Whites.”

The goals were scored by Breno Almeida (2), Falaye Sacko, Igor Ribeiro and Andrew Gravillon.

With this result, Neftchi moved to the top of the standings with six points. Zira, who are in second place, also have six points. Araz-Nakhchivan are ninth with one point.

It should be noted that in the previous matches of the round, Shafa beat Gabala 1-0 away, while Zira defeated Imishli 3-1 at home.

The matches Sabah–Sumgayit and Qarabag–Kapaz have been postponed due to European competition fixtures.
