Head coaches appointed for Azerbaijan’s youth national teams.

Axar.az reports that the appointments were approved during an online meeting of the Executive Committee of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).

According to the decision, the following coaches have been appointed as head coaches of Azerbaijan’s national teams in the respective age groups:

U-15 – Aleksandr Gross

U-16 – Famil Khalilov

U-17 – Emin Mustafayev

U-18 – Mahmud Gurbanov

U-19 – Elgiz Kerimli

It should be noted that the open application process for the head coach positions was announced following consultations with AFFA’s new technical director, Edmond Klaus. The applicants were assessed based on established criteria, and the final recommendations were prepared by AFFA’s Technical Department and submitted to the Executive Committee.
