Today, the Azerbaijan women’s volleyball team played its final Group C match at the European Championship being held in Baku.

Axar.az reports that the team coached by Faig Garayev faced the Netherlands.

The match, held at the National Gymnastics Arena, ended in a 3–1 victory for the Netherlands.

Azerbaijan dominated the first set, winning 25–15.

The Netherlands looked more confident in the second set and leveled the score at 25–16. The third set was more closely contested, with the Netherlands taking the lead by winning 25–22. In the fourth set, the fans at the arena witnessed an evenly matched contest.

The Netherlands took control toward the end of the set and won 25–19.
