Turkiye win European women’s volleyball championship

The European Women’s Volleyball Championship has come to an end.

Axar.az reports that Turkiye and Italy faced each other in the tournament final. The match, held at the Sinan Erdem Sports Complex in Istanbul, was highly dramatic. Twice trailing in the match, Turkiye fought back to level the sets at 2-2.

The winner was decided in a tie-break. Turkiye dominated the final set to secure a 3-2 victory and win the European Championship for the second consecutive time.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan hosted the matches in Group C of the European Women’s Volleyball Championship.
