Neftchi advance to FIBA Europe Cup main stage

Neftchi basketball team has advanced to the FIBA Europe Cup main stage despite losing 73-61 to Parnu in the second leg of the qualifying round in Estonia.

Axar.az reports that Neftchi progressed 141-140 on aggregate after winning the first leg.

The Azerbaijani club will compete in Group H of the main stage alongside Oradea of Romania, Fribourg Olympic of Switzerland, VEF Riga of Latvia, Mykonos of Greece and Lokomotiv Plovdiv of Bulgaria.
