Portugal have secured a place in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals after beating Norway 2-1 in the fourth round of the group stage.

Axar.az reports that Joao Cancelo and Gonçalo Ramos scored for Portugal in the 38th and 79th minutes, respectively. Norway’s only goal came from Kristoffer Ajer in the 36th minute. Portugal’s Francisco Conceicao was sent off in the 86th minute.

The victory took Portugal to 12 points and kept them top of Group 4, making them the first team to secure a place in the quarterfinals. Norway remain bottom with three points, while Denmark are second with six points and Wales are third with three.

Portugal will host Denmark on November 14, while Norway will face Wales on the same day.

It should be noted that the top two teams in each Elite Division group qualify for the quarterfinals.
