Galatasaray set €55 million release clause for Batrakov

A new detail has emerged regarding the possible transfer of Russian footballer Aleksey Batrakov, who joined Galatasaray.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the 21-year-old midfielder’s agent, Vladimir Kuzmichev, said that the player’s contract includes a €55 million release clause.

According to the agent, no concrete offers or expressions of interest have so far come from leading European clubs. He believes other teams need time to monitor Batrakov’s performances in the Turkish league and assess how well he adapts to his new environment.

Kuzmichev also noted that a handful of matches would not be enough to form a definitive assessment of the player’s potential.

It should be noted that Galatasaray signed Batrakov from Moscow’s Lokomotiv for €25 million in the summer of 2026. The contract runs until the summer of 2031. Under the agreement, Lokomotiv is entitled to 15% of any future transfer fee.
