Mammadyarov draws with Hungarian Rapport

Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has been held to a draw by Hungarian Richard Rapport in the 9th round of the Reykjavik Open 2016 increasing his points to 7.

Mammadyarov will face Bulgarian Ivan Cheparinov in the 10th round of the tournament.

The tournament brings together 246 chess players, including 32 grandmasters and 31 international masters from more than 30 countries.

The Swiss system tournament features 10 rounds.
