Azerbaijan’s Mehdiyev wins judo gold medal

Azerbaijan’s Mammadali Mehdiyev won a gold medal in the 90kg judo event at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games.

Axar.az reports that In the finals, he defeated Algeria’s Abderrahmane Benamadi with a score of 1-0.

The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital.
