Chile reveal new club of Sanchez in squad announcement

Arsenal fans would have been dazed, confused and probably angry if they had checked Twitter when Chile’s squad announcement was made last night.

Axar.az reports citing The Sun.

Juan Antonio Pizzi’s side will face Germany, Australia and Cameroon in their Confederations Cup group in Russia as the country looks to test out its World Cup venues for next summer.

Sanchez has recently been tipped with a £50million move to Bayern Munich, with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in taking the 29-goal forward.

The 28-year-old has been in a long-running contract stand-off with Arsenal, and the club have offered him around £250,000 a week with a year left to run.

But that is about £100,000 short of what Sanchez wants to take home every week, and he has been threatening to take his two beloved dogs Atom and Humber to pastures new.

Chile’s Confederations Cup bid set to kick off on June 18 in Moscow.
