Azerbaijani U-23 wrestlers claim three medals

Azerbaijani under-23 wrestlers have won three medals on the first day of the European Championships held in Ruse, Bulgaria.

Murad Mammadov (59kg) grabbed the silver medal, while Ruhin Mikayilov and Elton Vezirzade scooped the bronze medals in the 71kg and 80kg divisions respectively.

Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on four Greco-Roman wrestlers on the second day of the Championships.
