Azerbaijani chess players to vie for medals

Azerbaijani chess players will compete in the Hasselbacken Open tournament, which kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday.

The tournament will bring together 382 chess players, 42 grandmasters, including Azerbaijan`s grandmaster Nijat Mammadov.

The Hasselbacken Chess Open 2016 will be held in a 9-round FIDE-Swiss open format and will be valid for FIDE rating and norms.
