Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Orkhan Nuriyev (97 kg) defeated Armenian Arthur Shahinyan in 1/8 finals and qualified to 1/4 finals in the European Championship in Bucharest, Romania. inform citing Report.

Earlier, freestyle wrestlers, winner of European Championship Haci Aliyev (65 kg) won Vazgen Tevanyan, silver medalist Agahuseyn Mustafayev (70 kg) defeated David Safaryan. Greco-Roman wrestler Islam Bayramov (87 kg) defeated Maxim Manukyan and reached the finals.
