AFFA clarified the allegations that England's Arsenal and Chelsea teams refused from tickets for the Europa League final in Baku.

Axar.az informs citing Report.

The head of AFFA's Press and Public Relations Service Firuz Abdulla told Report that out of the 6,000 tickets allocated by UEFA to each participant of the final meeting, Chelsea sold 3,500 and Arsenal 4,500 to their fans.

According to the official representative of the federation, given the high demand for tickets in Azerbaijan and the fact that there is little time left before the final meeting, AFFA appealed to UEFA for selling the remaining 4,000 tickets in Baku: "There is a big demand for these tickets. Hundreds of people are interested in tickets every day. 4,000 tickets have been sent to Baku and have been on sale at iTicket ticket offices since yesterday."

Notably, the Europa League final will be held on May 29 at the Baku Olympic Stadium. The meeting starts at 23:00.
