Nurmagomedov vs. Poirier first faceoff

UFC 242 headliners Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier came face-to-face today for the first time ahead of their lightweight title unifier in September.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that the UFC hosted a press conference for the card, which takes place September 7 in Abu Dhabi, in London to promote the event.

The 155-pound champ Nurmagomedov (27-0 MMA, 11-0 UFC) and interim titleholder Poirier (25-5 MMA, 17-4 UFC) were both in attendance to answer questions from the media. Afterward, they had their first faceoff, MMA Junkie reported.
