Our wrestlers became European champions

The European cadet wrestling championship started in the Italian city of Faenza.

Axar.az informs that, Greco-Roman wrestlers competed at 48, 55, 65, 80 and 110 kg on the first day of the competition, according to the Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation.

Melik Aliyev, who joined the fight in the 1/4 finals, did not give an Israeli representative a chance to finish his semifinals. Having proved his power to the Belarusian wrestler, Aliyev won the final. The decisive encounter, which took place on June 18, was held in a tense struggle. With 0: 3 in the match with Russian wrestler, Malik has shown his persistence and changed the score to the European champion!

Nihat Mammadli surpassed the Russian wrestler at the first tense encounter. Mammadli was stronger than Turkish wrestler in the next match, and he called the semifinals. At the final stage of the final, Nihat faced a major encounter with the Armenian wrestler. The wrestler, who maintained his 4th goal in the first division, ended up finishing. The last match held on June 18 was also the start of the wrestling. Mammadli was the European champion who won the Belarusian athlete early.

Hassan Hasanli has given a confident start to the continental championship. At first meeting, our compatriot frustrated his Hungarian opponent early. Hasanli did not allow the Croatian athlete to turn his eyes off. Winner of the first part of the competition, Xasay reached the semifinals. Hasanli lost to Russia representative at this stage. In the third place on June 18, Khasay won the bronze medal in his first fight against his Georgian opponent.

Alisafar Mammadli won the Croatian wrestler at the first stage. However, Elisafer did not meet with his Moldovan counterpart at the next meeting.
