An investigation has been launched over the player of the national team of France Antoine Griezmann’s transfer from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona.

Axar.az reports citing Mirror that Royal Spanish Football Federation has considered necessary determination if the Catalonia representative conducts negotiations with the player in the frame of rules.

The Director of Atletico Madrid complained to the body and it has led to the investigation. Atletico Madrid FC complains that Barcelona FC has started negotiations with Griezmann before the date, defined by rules.

That is why the transfer of the 28-year-old footballer has cost not 200 million, but 120 million euros. Atletico Madrid FC required Barcelona to pay 80 million euros.

Note that Antoine Griezmann, playing in Atletico Madrid FC since 2014, scored 94 goals in 180 matches.
