Zinedine Zidane has backed Eden Hazard to succeed at Real Madrid following the former Chelsea forward’s slow start in Spain.

Axar.az reports citing Talksport that the Belgium captain has failed to score or assist a goal in any of his first four games for the LaLiga giants.

The Bernabeu faithful has whistled their own players in the past, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale, but Zidane has urged them to stay patient with Hazard.

He said: “I know he is going to succeed here.

“I’m not going to give him any advice on how to play. He knows what we want from him and we know the player he is.

“We all have to remain calm, I’m not worried at all.

“He needs more time, we have to be calm with the players who have just arrived.”
