Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics kicked off at the Sports and Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev on May 20.

Sixty seven gymnasts, representing the Baku Gymnastics School, the Ojag and Neftchi sports clubs, as well as the Nizami District Specialized Children-Youth Sports School are participating in the two-day competition.

Representatives of the Ojag sports club will participate in the competitions in acrobatics for the first time.

Meanwhile, silver medalists of the world competitions among age groups, the mixed pair composed of Aghasif Rahimov and Nurjan Jabbarli, as well as men's pair - Seymur Jafarov - Murad Akbarov will also participate in the event.
