Mohamed Salah’s selfishness will see him win the Premier League Golden Boot this season unless Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp chooses to give him a rest, reckons Tim Sherwood.
Axar.az reports citing foreign media that the Egyptian superstar scored twice in a 3-1 win over Brighton on Wednesday night, taking his tally to 19 league goals this season.
He has work to do to finish as the top scorer this campaign, with Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy on 22 goals and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on 20. The Reds have four games left to play this season, and former Premier League winner Sherwood believes that is enough time for Salah to overtake his rivals unless Klopp thinks he would rather save him for next season.
