Harry Kewell tests positive for coronavirus

Harry Kewell, manager of the UK’s lower division club, Oldham Athletic, has contracted the coronavirus, the team announced Tuesday.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by foreign media.

“Oldham Athletic can confirm that Assistant Head Coach Alan Maybury will take charge of tonight's game on the touchline after a positive test for Covid-19 came back today for Harry Kewell,“ the League Two club said in a statement.

The team said the Australian manager will remain in isolation for 10 days.

“He was subsequently re-tested yesterday, but was not present at training since developing symptoms.“

The former Galatasaray player was appointed manager in August 2020.
