Baku Marshals Club launched

The Baku Marshals Club of the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe has been launched.

Azerbaijan`s minister of youth and sports Azad Rahimov cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the Club.

Addressing the event, Mr. Rahimov spoke of Azerbaijan`s experience in hosting largescale events. He underlined the importance of the role of marshals in the competition.

According to the minister, 1200 marshals have been involved in the European Grand Prix.

Head of the Bahrain Marshals Club Fayez Ramzi hailed the preparations to the competition, and the “close” cooperation between the marshals of the countries.
