FIFA is changing the rules of offside

FIFA and the Council of International Football Associations (IFAB) are considering possible changes to the rules for determining offside situations.

Axar.az reports that the president of the higher football institution, Gianni Infantino, said at a press conference after the annual general meeting of IFAB.

The official said that the new rules will give more preference to attacking teams.

According to Infantino, Arsene Wenger, the head of FIFA's Global Football Development Department, presented some ideas on the issue. It should be noted that IFAB today approved new rules in football.
