Shahriyar Mammadyarov will meet with Magnus Carlsen

The matches of the second round of the final stage of the Champions Chess Tour organized by the Norwegian world chess champion Magnus Carlsen will be held today.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan is represented by our grandmasters Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Teymur Rajabov.

In the second round, Mammadyarov will face Magnus Carlsen. Rajabov will face US representative Hikaru Nakamura.

Note that, in the first round, Shahriyar Mammadyarov lost to Wesley So (USA), Teymur Rajabov lost to Vladislav Artemyev (Russia).
