The Italian club fired Shevchenko

Italian club Genoa parted ways with head coach Andrei Shevchenko.

Axar.az informs that according to the club's official website, the contract of the 46-year-old Ukrainian specialist was terminated ahead of schedule.

Genoa, who have stopped playing in the Italian Cup, have won just one of their last 11 Serie A games under Andrei Shevchenko. The team is currently in 19th place with 12 points from 21 games.

It should be noted that Shevchenko was appointed head coach of the club in November last year.
