Shahriyar Mammadyarov met with Anish Giri

Today, January 17, the third round of the Tata Steel Masters chess super tournament was held in Wageningen, the Netherlands.

Axar.az informs that in the third round, the Azerbaijani representative Shahriyar Mammadyarov competed with the Dutch chess player Anish Giri with black pieces. The chess players agreed on a draw in the 21st round.

It should be noted that in the last two rounds, our chess player's matches with Russian chess players Daniil Dubov and Andrey Yesipenko also ended in a draw.

The round robin competition consists of 13 rounds. 14 chess players are participating in the tournament.
