Islamic Games: Azerbaijan rose to the 4th place

After the 9th competition day of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey, the number of medals in Azerbaijan's assets increased to 43.

Axar.az reports that 13 of the medals are gold, 15 are silver, and 15 are bronze.

With this result, Azerbaijan rose to the 4th place in the overall ranking of the participating countries. In the first 3 positions, respectively, Turkey has 169 (60 gold, 59 silver, 50 bronze), Iran 73 (27 gold, 23 silver, 23 bronze) and Uzbekistan 63 (20 gold, 17 silver, 26 bronze) medals.
