Armed attack on the TFF building

There was an armed attack on the administrative building of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

Axar.az reports that five bullets were fired into the building when the Board of Directors of the institution was having a meeting. It was reported that one of these bullets went over the head of Hamit Altintop, a former football player of the Turkish national team

No one was injured or killed in the armed attack.

The ruling AKP spokesman Omer Çelik said that the matter is being investigated.

The persons who fired at the TFF building were detained.

Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said this.

"11 shots were fired, 5 of them hit the building. 2 people were detained. They are drunk," said the minister.
