Azerbaijani GM wins silver

Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Rasulov has claimed the silver medal at the Khakim Omarov Memorial in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The 7-round tournament brought together 71 chess players, including 10 grandmasters from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and other countries.

Belarus chess player Aleksey Aleksandrov became the winner of the Memorial with 7 points.
