Azerbaijani wrestler became the European champion

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Elmir Aliyev took part in the final match of the U-23 European Championship held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

Axar.az reports that the athlete fighting in 60 kg met Israeli Melkamu Fetene in a decisive match.

Aliyev, who defeated his opponent with a score of 5:3, became the continental champion.

It should be noted that Khasay Hasanli (77 kg), one of the Greco-Roman wrestlers, won a silver medal earlier.
