Infantino was re-elected FIFA president

Presidential elections of the organization were held at the 73rd Congress of the Association of International Football Federations (FIFA), which was held in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.

Axar.az reports that Gianni Infantino, the only candidate, was re-elected as the president of FIFA. He was approved as the head of the institution until 2027.

It should be recalled that Gianni Infantino was elected president of FIFA for the first time in 2016, having received 115 votes out of a possible 207 in the second round of voting. In 2019, he was re-elected to this position for a second term.
