Azerbaijan's group gymnastics team won the 39th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, which was held in Baku.

Axar.az reports that with three ribbons and two balls, our team of Gullu Aghalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Zeynab Hummatova, Elizaveta Luzan, and Darya Sorokina won the competition.

The Israeli team took silver with 32,150 points, while the Spanish gymnasts earned bronze with 31,200 points.

315 gymnasts (191 adults, 124 youth) from 38 countries competed in the continental championship held under the slogan "Shine like a star".

Recall that on the first day of the championship, our young group team earned bronze medals in the all-around and five-ball competitions. Our senior team was third in all-around. Zohra Agamirova, one of our gymnasts, won bronze in the ball competition.
