Four Azerbaijani athletes to be in action today

Four Azerbaijani athletes will today launch their bid to win medals at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as the action enters Day 2.

Judo fighter Nijat Shikhalizade will take on Sugoi Uriarte from Spain in the round of 32 in the men`s 66kg.

Cyclist Olena Pavlukhina will vie for medals in the women's road race.

Slalom canoer Jure Meglic will try to reach the semifinal in the kayak (K1) men.

Boxer Teymur Mammadov (81kg) will face Ukrainian Denys Solonenko in the 1/16 round.
