Our athlete won 3 medals at the world championship

The men's and women's weightlifting world championships, which took place in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh on September 4-17, are coming to an end.

Axar.az reports that 894 athletes (469 men + 425 women) are taking part in the license competition for the Olympic Games. Among them are members of the Azerbaijan national team.

Dadash Dadashbeyli was the last to climb the bridge. He competed in the weight class of 109 kg.

Our athlete suddenly lifted 180 kg and won the bronze medal of the world championship in this movement.

Dadash lifted 223 kg over his head in the push-up movement and became the bronze medalist of the world championship in this movement.

Dadashbeyli, who showed a total of 403 kg (180+223), took 3rd place in the final standings of the world championship and climbed to the podium.
