Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Haji Aliyev won a gold medal at the 36th World Championship on wrestling among military personnel held in Baku.

Axar.az reports that the three-time world champion fighting in the 70-kilogram weight class defeated his Iranian opponent in the final match and climbed to the top of the podium.

Another representative of Azerbaijan - Ali Rahimzadeh, who fought in the 65 kg weight category, won the title of world champion in the final.
