Azerbaijani wrestler wins silver medal

Azerbaijani female wrestler Maria Stadnik (weight category 48 kg) has become the silver medalist the Summer Olympic Games in Rio.

In the final she lost Tosaka Yeri from Japan with score of 2:3.


Stadnik in the 1/8 finals won Patricia Bermudez (Argentina) - 10:0, and in the ¼ finals Iwona Matkowski (Poland) - 10:0. In the semifinals, Maria defeated Elisa Yankov (Bulgaria) - 6: 0.
