The president of the football club in Azerbaijan was detained by law enforcement agencies.

Axar.az reports that Zahid Niyazaliyev, the president of the First League representative club "Iravan", is currently under investigation.

According to the press secretary of the club, Mubariz Suleymanli, the investigation conducted by the law enforcement agencies revealed serious financial violations in "Iravan". It is about the fact that approximately 30,000 manats were not spent as intended.

It should be noted that the team is currently managed by the vice-president Hasan Hasanov.
